When to start

If you are new to yoga we recommend waiting until your 13th week before commencing. If you already have a consistent yoga practice, you are welcome to start the prenatal yoga classes at any time.

Best to start as early in your second trimester as you can. If you are more than 30 weeks pregnant please call us before starting as we will need to asses your suitability.

 

Previous yoga experience

You do not need to know anything about yoga or have a certain level of fitness to begin. All you need is a commitment to attend at least one class a week to reap the benefits.

 

When to finish

When you give birth! The yoga classes are tailored to be safe for you until you give birth. We have many mums to be still going strong at 42 weeks.

 

What to bring

Just yourself and a water bottle. Mats and props are supplied, although we do recommend purchasing your own quality mat, available at the studio.

 

Bookings

Online registration is preferred but not essential. If you have not booked, be sure to arrive 15 minutes early for registration. Note: you do NOT need to commit to the same class each week, but we do ask that you attend at least once a week for continuity of practice. You may also want to download our Free App for your convenience. Search for: Yogaplus studio in the App store or Google Play.

First class - FREE

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first class. Doors open 15 minutes before class starts and lock strictly at start time. You will be asked to fill out a registration form.

 

Other classes

Slow Flow and Restorative Yoga are also suitable during pregnancy. Your pass can be used towards those classes too.

 

Payment (your pass can be used towards any yoga class, not just prenatal yoga)

Intro pass (7 days unlimited)  $25 (after your free class)

Unlimited 3 month yoga pass $395

Unlimited 1 month yoga pass $140

10 class pass (valid 4 months) $180

Casual visit $20

We accept cash and EFTPOS.

 

If your baby arrives early

Your classes will remain on your account for up to 3 months after your baby’s birth. If you need longer, just let us know.

 

Health Insurance Rebate

Please check with your insurance provider if prenatal yoga classes are covered under your policy.
